Straight Outta Hellcreek (VI) is the seventeenth chapter of Darbi.
Synopsis[]
Darbi fiercely warns off both Peet and Dolla from killing Smalltoe, telling them it was unwise to gank her before knowing why the Ballahs want her dead. As Peet and Dolla protested, with Peet proclaiming there weren't even any Ballahs around, a Ballah suddenly appears and attacks them all. Shifting into action, Darbi, Peet and Dolla kill the Ballah, with its blood spurting all over Smalltoe in the process. With a disgusted Smalltoe wondering how they even ate this, Dolla bursts into laughter.
Meanwhile, Myke confers with Phaylah saying that if they wanted to take down the Savages, they should do it ASAP. However, Phaylah tells him to be patient and wait for the Trykes to get on side. Myke muses that they'd better join as his kind had more to lose than Phaylah, since she has no skin in the game. Phaylah responds that she doesn't need to because she sets the rules, right before she casually chooses one male Pomp to please her over another (with Myke noting how cold she is).
In the Killing Fields, Sheylynn brings Mother Dayzee to the corpse of Smalltoe's mother and blames the Savages for her death and the disappearance of Smalltoe. Saddened by the loss of life and the breach of understanding she had with Packmother, Dayzee tells Rhed to gather their Bulls so they could gain vengeance on the Savages (while Sheylynn smirks evilly unbeknownst).
